CELEBRATING
A DAY IN THE MIDST OF OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS
We'd be over the moon if you'd join us in the celebrations of getting married, and look forward to a weekend filled with love and joy!
The ceremony itself will take place up in the vineyards of Nittel. For the evening-part, we'll be walking down together to the Zilliken winery in Nittel for dinner and evening fun. You are most welcome to arrive on Friday night—we will certainly be there—not only because Jutta hopes we could fit in a run in the morning for the runners amongst you. Below, we gathered more information: the plan for the day, how to get there, and where to stay. We have reserved a few rooms in the many guest houses in Nittel—you can use our map as a point of reference.
The day
VENUE 1 ~ AFTERNOON
2pm: All arrive at Wiese
for coffee, cake and chats in the vineyards. Check the map for directions

Getting There
TRANSPORTATION
Luxemburg airport is a mere 20 mins away from Nittel by car and has plenty of European flights come in. Taxis from and to the airport are about EUR 60 - 75 one way, but there are also buses to Nittel. You can find all the routes here.

Otherwise, Nittel has its own train station with regional trains to Trier. Plus, there is also parking space in Nittel in case you travel by car.
ACCOMMODATION
Nittel has plenty of nice guesthouses and everything will be in walking distance so we strongly recommend you staying here. We have reserved a few rooms in the guest houses marked on the map, so when you call make sure to mention the wedding. There are of course many more options in Nittel, and all of them are probably fine.
What to wear?
If you are thinking about the right outfit in Nittel's vineyards, be warned that during this part of the day, high heels could be a little too adventurous. Here is what we suggest: if you plan on a good middle ground between a nice summer garden party and a fancy dinner, then you'll be spot on. We are doing the same, with Jutta wearing a light wedding dress, and Max going summer suit with tie.
Gifts
If it was up to us, there is no need at all to bring presents. Most of you are spending a lot of money on traveling to be there with us, which we are so grateful for. We also have all we need to jump on bike rides and weekend coffee outings. If you really can't resist, we would love a very small personal gift.
